On May 21st the 8th EUCMA Annual Charity Gala Dinner was held at UCCA in the 798 Art District, Beijing. The event, “Give a Helping Hand”, was greatly supported by the EU Delegation and the China Charity Federation.

The gala dinner brought together about 150 representatives from several business sectors and institutions, with the common aim of gathering funds to provide medical care to needy orphans and children in China. This year the main sponsors included Nokia, CB Richards Ellis, Clear World Energy, Airbus, Areva, Pacific Century Place Beijing, and Clarity Public Relations. The proceeds of more than 650,000RMB raised at the event will be used to provide medical treatment to the orphans and children in need starting form June 2009.
