The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China’s 6th Annual Charity Gala Dinner “Touch an Orphan’s Life” was held at the Kempinski Hotel on Nov. 22, 2006.

Since 2001, the EU Dinner through Operation Blessing China’s Orphan Program has affected approximately 1,891 orphans:
- Provided 18 life-saving surgeries
- Provided 25 life-changing surgeries
- Provided 20 orphans with critical rehabilitation services
- Provided 259 orphans with medical checks
- Provided caretaking training for 62 caretakers affecting approximately 1000 orphans
- Provided 16 special-needs orphans with special education assistance
- Provided 1 new kitchen, 1 medical clinic, 1 library, 90 beds, and renovated 2 large buildings, affecting the quality of life of approximately 553 orphans
